I've been waiting for a daylily to name in honor of Pat Cochenour's favorite movie A Christmas Story . Every December, Pat looked forward to watching its 24-hour marathon broadcast. In the 1983 movie, all Ralphie Parker wants for Christmas is a Red Ryder BB gun. 'Ralphie's Christmas Gift' seemed the perfect name for this seedling with vivid red coloring and reliable rebloom.
